I first bought a pack of these protective pillowcases a few years ago. Then when I recently got married I bought a few for my husband to combat problems like mold on pillows from sleep drooling and terrified bugs that might try to come home with us from the hotel or air. . Many years ago my friends and I rented a beach house for Memorial Day. The trip was AMAZING, but the unwanted little critters (yes, bed bugs) came back with my pillow, invaded my bed and practically gave me a nervous breakdown! Imagine being a nurse heading to microbiology class, meticulously discarding all work clothes and shoes at the door in case of germs after seeing the "bug problems” our most feared patients had. realize that you have a terrible disease. at your home! And not just lice, oh no, lice would be easier to defeat compared to bed bugs! Are you kidding me? Over the next 2 months I tried every natural remedy in the world - sprays, powders, oils, threw away the mattress, pillows, kept the bedroom door closed to avoid "spreading out", washed all the clothes in the closet. and even slept downstairs on the couch (well, I didn't have a bed yet, eh.). I cried and cried and was about to lose my composure completely when, believe it or not, God told me to go to my room and sleep that the bed bugs were gone because he had taken care of it. I reluctantly bought an air mattress and dragged myself back upstairs to sleep. I never got bed bug bites again and they are completely gone! Shortly after this nightmare infestation, I bought my first set of pillowcases and mattress topper from the same company. Since then I have slept much more peacefully! God! Hooray, pillowcases for pillows and mattresses!
