Review on Efficient Heating with Spectra Premium 98034 Heater Core by Justin Ewing

Replaced the radiator on the 2010 Forester and it worked. Unfortunately, you must use the clamps that come with this kit. The new core has smaller flanges than the original, so the original clamps will not work. Bought 2 4mm x 0.7 x 20mm hex head screws and washers from ACE Hardware and this gave me the length I needed to place the clamp on the wire, rotate it by hand, insert the wire to secure the O -Compress the ring and tighten the screw with a small ratchet and socket while still holding the line firmly on the heater core. The screws provided were too short to attach the clamp, compress the o-ring, thread the screw in and tighten.
