I'm not a swimmer so I don't know how to rate it for this use. I use it to protect my eyes from strong dandruff shampoo in the shower (picture). It doesn't have different tips for different nose shapes like some do - it's universal, although it seems to fit two sizes (narrow tip and wider-flatter? nose bridge). turn around. This will prevent the shampoo from getting in your eyes. The seal's pull around my eyes seems pretty good, although I think it could be stronger; but again, it depends on the specific contours of the face. Straps are easy to adjust (squeeze sides of clips - not explained on supplied insert); they hold up well enough; and I'm comfortable enough to wear them even though I only use them in the shower, according to YMMV.
