My 7 year old mixed breed (65lbs and very skinny) tore his cruciate ligament the Monday before Christmas and had TPLO surgery the first Monday in January. After the surgery I immediately started researching joint supplements as the surgeon recommended that he be given a daily joint supplement for the rest of his life. I came across Wholistic Pet Organics in the comments of an article in Wholistic Dog Journal. After doing some research and messaging the company on their Facebook page, I decided to try their Run Free formula (as opposed to their Joint Mobility formula). My puppy has successfully completed a 12 week visit to the doctor. As he was gradually allowed to return to his normal activity, I also began supplementing my 14 year old lab mix. The 14-year-old started to slow down last year. After about a month of taking this supplement daily, the 14-year-old started jumping again! There is also a powder version of this product. I like gummy bears because my dogs share food and feed it for free. I love that I can check the dose I'm giving to my dog who has had TPLO by chewing. I truly believe this product has made a huge difference in my 7 year old mutt's TPLO recovery and my 14 year old Lab's new strength. Highly recommended.
