Wow! This is an amazing starter kit. It contains everything a beginner needs: 2 nice pieces of wood, 1 very sharp carving knife, 1 leather belt (for sharpening) and belt paste, detailed instructions on how to carve birds, how to sharpen the knife and how to complete the project. (Sanding and polishing) 1 roll of finger tape 5 strips of sandpaper (3 different grits) for sanding 1 bottle of beeswax polish and 3 plasters just in case. It also includes a link to a video tutorial. a bookmark with cutting tips and a link to chat. board for questions. This is the perfect kit not only for learning but also for beginners. But because the knives and pieces of wood are of such high quality, it's great for the experienced carver too. I can't recommend it highly enough. You need this kit. I love him.
