*** 3 Stars for Quality***** 5 Stars for Functionality***+ 3 1/2 Stars Overall After discovering these flocked velvet hangers a few years ago, my closet has never been the same and I am never went back to traditional hangers. This guy is simply unbeatable when it comes to keeping clothes in place and fitting more hangers tightly together. Compact and very functional. The serrated top of the hangers is also useful for clothes with thin straps or loops for hanging on the waistband of trousers and skirts. The slim design is perfect and the rotating hooks add versatility when hanging. These hangers are peachy pink with gold hooks, while my existing velvet hangers are black with silver hooks and tan with gold hooks. I like to combine dress colors with different colors of hangers, so pink hangers fit perfectly into my scheme. My other hangers came from Costco and Walmart and they are very well made, in bulk for less: 100 hangers for $26 and 50 hangers for $11 respectively. At $27 before tax, 50 hangers are not competitively priced. The problem with this kit is they look pretty much the same as my other kits but not the same quality. The velvet flocking is soft and even in thickness, but also looks worn and slightly discolored on the flat side, as if from use. This defect reflects the poor quality of the velvet material. Also, the gold hooks are a bit smaller and thicker than the metal than my other sets, and the metal is a bit rough, while all the hooks on my other hangers are very smooth. These hangers have no design flaws as such, they only have quality flaws. They still work with no issues but the cost and quality compared to my other kits is remarkable. I am considering returning them and will just buy more from Costco or Walmart knowing the quality and price of these sets.
