This is the coziest, tallest and warmest wool blanket I could find. Other wool blankets were more like thin quilts and didn't feel as cozy, while this one is almost fluffy. It has no perceptible odor and can be washed in a top-loading washing machine if washed carefully according to the instructions (air dry in the sun). Perfect comfort very warm. We keep our house at 67 at night and the duvet is almost too warm. We would turn the heat down but we have two small children who can get cold. Sometimes I wonder if cool comfort would be the best weight for us, but I think eventually we can turn the thermostat down and that's when perfect comfort becomes perfect. Or we'll buy cool comfort one day and have both, depending on the season. Another great thing about this blanket is that the company uses the most ethical and chemical free wool available.
