We bought it for 2 reasons: to mirror movies for our child and to have a backup camera. The camera is pretty decent, just as a backup I guess. The cable that came with it was NOT long enough to go straight from the rear camera on our bumper to the stereo on our dash. So it's a shame that I need an extension. Our vehicle is an eco-van, which means it is longer than a normal passenger car, but about the same length as a double-cab long-bed truck. Setting up mirror playback was a complete joke as my iPhone 8 was connected to the network. It was so bad the picture was really jumpy and shaky making it impossible to watch videos from the phone. Everything else is fine I think. I mean now the reception seems to be cut off and there wasn't before, but maybe it's because we had to buy and use an antenna extender? However. may not be recommended if you are receiving this and expecting the camera cable to reach your double cab or long bed van. and iPhone mirroring is stupid because you need to connect it to USB, it's not transfer and it was useless.
