Updated waist belt is DISASTER

This is the fourth (maybe fifth) Osprey Exos I've bought since the original model. It has gone through at least 3 revisions and the waist belt on this new model is a disaster. It's bad enough that they removed the waistbelt pockets, but I could live with that. When I received it and tried it on, I immediately realized that they MUST have removed the lap belt pockets because they shortened the lap belt wings. I have a 37" waist, 22" torso and have always worn an Osprey L (largest size), which is what I have done here. However, the new lap belt wings do NOT even reach the points on the sides of my pelvis. The lap belt on the wings is at least 3-4cm shorter on each side. To tighten the lap belt I had to pull the belt very tight against my stomach, which would be bearable for maybe 5 minutes on the trail with a full pack. Basically it's the same as buying a package with just a nylon webbing waistbelt. Thank goodness for Revain's return policy, I turned around and requested a refund within half an hour of receiving the package.
