This helped a lot with my shoulder pain. While working as a USPS mailman in a rural area, I used my left hand much more than my right hand to steer a passenger-side car. provide warmth when it is needed and freeze when the cold comes. The printed instructions can be a little confusing, but they also have a YouTube video you can watch to make it easier and clearer. Comfortable straps, perfect elasticity, Velcro is very strong, but the plastic guides can be painful under the armpits if you don't fasten them properly on each shoulder. The heat doesn't last as long as 20 minutes as they say, but it only takes about 30 seconds to heat them up again. The stuff sacks are quite large so you can use other ice/heat gel packs while the original packs are in the freezer. The fabric is really nice and strong, the stitching won't pierce or scratch the skin and the copper prevents odor or microbial growth. I use a damp rag to wipe it down when I'm done and hang it up or fold it up when I'm not using it. If you think you need it, you do it.
