I like the Converse Chuck Taylor II because they are not as flat as traditional sneakers and have a Lunarlon lining on the inside for a bit of support. I was a bit disappointed with the color because the photos actually looked like they showed 2 different colors. I think it's burgundy. I think when maroon first came out it and the lace had a sheen to it, hence the conflicting photos. I still like them but just consider that they have the colors of the average pictures and not "shiny".
