Just want to say I have mats in the $500-$600 range. I wanted something similar in look (pattern and color for my kitchen). I read all the reviews that it's thin and rubber based, that's exactly what I was looking for! I have two small dogs that eat and drink in the kitchen. I wanted a rug that would withstand cooking splashes and other accidents. I feel like I can take this lightweight rug out onto the patio or driveway, spray on a degreaser and hose it down when needed! The colors look saturated (there's no white in there! Thank goodness). I really like this rug, I've ordered another one in case anything happens to this one. We are not talking about a quality carpet here! Simply practical, beautiful and NOT tasteless! I would buy it again (in fact I did!) I bought the red one.
