Two weeks after following the instructions and rinsing before installation, my fish died. Maybe it's coincidence, but I feel like I'd be better off with the original filter. Also, for them, the fibers were much thicker than the original ones, which may have impeded the flow of water. Again, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't recommend it.
