I am very disappointed in this product. Maybe this reel is defective, but when I install it according to the instructions, the mirror side of the tint is inside. He says it can't be installed outside. The only reason I ordered this was for privacy. 🙄😒Update 05/29/2021 Instead of returning I tried to install. I really wanted privacy so I decided to put it in front of the door because the storm door protects it from the weather right? NOT CORRECT. This is a complete wreck. I have installed this type of products before without error and everything is fine with it. That's why you don't put tape on the outside of the window. If the window is coated in any way, it's outside. Yes. And if you try to put it on it you get air bubbles, burrs, every texture you can think of. I thought we only had glass windows but it's not. SURPRISE! There was some kind of transparent cloak. 😐 Now I need to figure out how to remove Durabond 5000 from glass without breaking the glass or cutting myself with a scraper. Why? Because my husband doesn't like it. Hooray for me.
