The sleeves are very long. The fabric is fantastic!

Bought for my daughter for a Wednesday Addams costume and a nice black dress for later. This is a fantastic fabric and appears to be very well made. The only thing I wanted to share is that he is not particularly broad in chest/shoulders. Of course, my daughter has always had a broad chest and slightly broad shoulders, so I'm used to a lot of brands being a bit tight in the chest. (LL Bean, one of the few who doesn't). I ordered 12 for my almost 10 year old and the chest fits well. Not too tight, but not too loose either. However, the sleeves are very long. From top of shoulder seam to wrist 24 inches. From armpit to wrist 20 inches. The chest measures 14.5 inches in diameter, which feels small for a 12-year-old, although it does stretch. In my opinion. Luckily I can shorten the sleeves as I'm a seamstress and the sleeves are likely to shrink a bit. My daughter hasn't started developing either but when she does it will be a real challenge to find looser tops as I've heard from friends that teenagers can be very shy about change and quit will wear tight shirts/dresses for fights that are thinner or medium busted, I'm sure it's a great fit for her normal size. I hope to buy more as they are soft and simple as my daughter requests. Thanks CityThreads.
