Review on ColorBox Poinsettia Petal Point Inkpad, 4.25 X 4.75 by Amy Mcleod

Perfect Spring and Easter Palette

I just used this palette with a large, airy butterfly as the background for a postcard. I put my stamp on the entire group of ink pads so the colors on my stamp are mixed and each butterfly has a mix of each of those colors. The ink is rather faded on my card. Partly because the butterfly stamp is very thin and thin with no big chunks to match the color and also because this ink is really pastel in colour. If you try my technique, please keep in mind that stamping across the entire palette and moving the stamp will result in each ink pad picking up different colors. Since this is my preferred method of applying ink, this is not a problem for me. I don't like a flat monochrome image.

Pros
  • To dry quickly on paper, cover item with a paper towel and iron with an iron on high power, no nozzle. Soap and water will remove ink from all types of stamps without leaving stains
Cons
  • No effect
