I may have gotten a bad one, but I've compared this multimeter to the Sekonic L-328, Canon 7D and Panasonic GF1 and in most cases the readings differed by one stop or more. Sekonic L-328, 7D and GF1 were measured within 1/2 stops of each other. The L-208 matched other gauges about 20% of the time. The remaining 80% of the readings were stopped or more discarded. Sometimes it showed higher, sometimes lower. If that counter was consistently high or low, maybe I could adjust to that. But it was so unstable that I sent it back. UPDATE: I decided to buy another L-208 because I really liked the size and the price. The second meter was MUCH more accurate and consistent. It was always within 1/2 stop of the Sekonic L-328. The advantage of this counter is that it is so small that it fits in any pocket. When shooting with 120 TLR I like to travel light. I can hang the L-208 on my camera strap or put it in my pocket. No need to bring your camera bag! If the first meter I bought hadn't been defective I would have given the L-208 4 stars, maybe even 5 stars.
