I bought Eureka! stuck to vacuuming and was smart enough to buy filters at the same time. Filters never last very long on this type of vacuum. But they don't fit. They can be placed in vacuum but are not as stable as the filter that comes with the product. The filter supplied with the product is supported by rubber; it is hard to explain. The original filter is, so to speak, reinforced with rubber; it looks like a cup. These filters have no extra support and suck into the vacuum instantly, requiring you to stop vacuuming, pull the filter out, and snap it back into its intended shape. Actually pretty annoying. I love the vacuum but I hate hate hate those replacement filters.
