With a new shower stall, wallpaper and lighting, the old mirror needed to be moved to my renovated downstairs bathroom. I was pleased to find this unit with nice deep shelves. It's heavy and well built. The hinges are very tight, but I still hope they loosen up a bit with use. A few notes about the installation. Despite this cabinet's 33-pound weight, the manufacturer included four small screws to secure it to the drywall. I never expected it to last. On the other hand, even though they said it was surface mount only, I made a 4" cutout. It needed two aluminum brackets, but that shouldn't be a problem for an experienced craftsman. We finished off the cutout with a 3/4 inch shoe shape that was dyed to match the closet's very rich espresso color. I am happy with the cabinet, its spaciousness and the effect it has on my bathroom.
