Review on Cotton Comfort: No Nonsense Women'S Leggings For Everyday Wear by Ken Lawson

I rarely leave reviews but I need to on this one: So a few years ago my mother-in-law sends us some McIntosh apples (THE BEST KIND and impossible to find on the West Coast) from an orchard near their house - crafty woman as she is she had decided to protect the precious cargo on the cross-country delivery from Upstate NY by placing them in some random leggings to keep them separate (among other protectants). I didn't think much of the leggings because I was super excited to have some McIntosh apples! I decided not to let a perfectly good pair of leggings go to waste and have been using them for over 7 years in various ways, esp for beach volleyball classes; they've been "loved".Fast forward to the pandemic and staying at home since March: I find that the leggings I've been (ab)using have replaced my lululemons (and other high-priced workout leggings) as my go-to work attire as my work transferred to home (and I had gained some weight due to some medical issues prior). But now, 7 years in, and heavily used over that time, I find these leggings are my new daily go-to's but I can't use them every day cause it's gross. The hunt begins. There was never an indication of brand, my MIL had no idea where she got them, and I was determined.after much searching I FOUND THEM! (and yes I cheered to my MIIL when I did) I bought these and another brand (just in case) just on a whim. THESE ARE THEM! The other, very common brand-name, is good but THESE are my favs.I read the reviews saying that the current version was slightly altered, and I agree they have, but it doesn't bother me. I have a very short torso and even with the slight weight gain in my mid-section I was concerned about the waist band but I find that it's perfectly fine.I wouldn't say they're "high-class" looking but I'm also not embarrassed to be seen on Zoom or (on the currently rare occasion) I leave my apartment wearing them. I will be wearing these even once we're able to socialize again. Bought a second new pair last week ;-) Buy and enjoy!
