Review on Honeywell TH115 AF GA Radiant Programmable Thermostat by Jamal Gerrero

We purchased this item 17 months ago. I had concerns because I had read that it sometimes fails after a year or so and I was concerned that returning or exchanging would be a problem. I was right. It failed after 17 months. I tried to contact the third party without success. I contacted Revain support and they reminded me that I purchased an extended warranty through Asurion. I contacted Asurion and they said the product is still under manufacturer warranty so I need to contact Honeywell. Honeywell has TERRIBLE customer support. I tried to sort this out on Saturday so the warranty department was closed. I called customer service from the website and they said the wait would be "over an hour". I made a ton of cookies while waiting 1 1/2 hours before giving up. I will be calling the original support number on Monday during business hours to hopefully figure out how to return this product. Until last week it was a pretty good product. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy it. Just take it to your regular store for hassle-free return. if that does not work.
