Actual 8 x 10 is 8 feet wide but 1.5 inches shorter than 10 feet. When I first unrolled it, the corners didn't line up perfectly (but were tight) and there was a slight crease in the middle. The really twisted end went under the furniture, so I don't know how it would do otherwise. The carpet has been around for about 1 month and I am happy with how it has been smoothed out. Gold/mustard fibers are blended into the steel blue base color. Not a fan of that stain effect. It's not very tightly woven, so I'm concerned about durability. It's thin so I put a quality felt underlay underneath to add softness and warmth and to protect the vinyl plank floor underneath. It's soft but not like a good rug, soft not plush. It vacuums and cleans well (I have pets) and the pattern and colors add some much-needed flair to my room.
