My original front general lighting had a defective switch. I couldn't just find a replacement switch to fix the old light. Also, my old flashlight had a frosted clear lens that seemed to attract bugs at night. I have decided to switch to amber lenses to minimize insect attraction when using the light at night. The new light assembly matched my Flagstaff RV's general light perfectly near the hitch. The switch on the new light is the same as on the old one. It doesn't appear to be in any way protected from water ingress when it rains; Therefore, this is likely to be the cause of the original switch failure. Time will show itself in a new light.
