Helps eliminate odors
I wasn't sure how it would work but I tried. I have a hooded tray that I removed the valve from because my cat was afraid to use it. I didn't like the idea of putting an item in the tray to make it awkward/dirty, so I placed it on the wall facing the tray's entrance, about 2 feet away. The smell seems to dissipate much faster than without it. I can well imagine that the distance from the source of the smell makes it so unsafe for the device. I recommend to anyone and everyone.
