I have been using this pump in my outdoor bird bath for over 2 years 24 hours a day 7 days a week in the heat and ice. I think it's very good for the price. UPDATE: 3rd year and I dropped it. Cracked intake cover. But the pump is still running. Someone complained that it wasn't adjustable, but it is; However, to adjust, you must remove the cover from the intake manifold. This is not a powerful pump, but it will easily pump water into a medium sized birdbath. UPDATE 2: 4 years old and still running 24x7, 365. I never expected such reliability. Also, this pump's power supply has a ground wire which you may prefer to cheaper pumps without one that claims to be double insulated but looks cheaply made in China. In any case, the starting power consumed by this pump will not activate the RCD prematurely, which can and should be used effectively.
