Review on 🐠 12/16mm CO2 Diffuser & Reactor: Atomizer Bubble Counter for Aquarium Plants, Fish Tank Accessory - Aquarium CO2 Diffuser for Effective CO2 Dissolution by Nicole Walker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Limits it CO2

Run it without CO2 for 10 hours to ensure it is fully absorbed. Then apply CO2 as instructed. Works very well to prevent the CO2 bubbles from being very visible to the eye about 1-2ft backwards. I had to increase the bubble counter a bit (very small amount). : The built-in diffuser didn't seem to release as many bubbles as it should. given by the number of bubbles generated by the bubble counter. (Do not complain). I know it's designed to reduce the visibility of CO2 bubbles and almost completely hide the appearance of bubbles. BUT. Something seems wrong to me. I think that CO2 from the inverted canister does not get into the water. I test this with a 4dkh/ph CO2 droplet tester. Yellow (low), Green (medium/just right), and Blue (high/too much). Waited 3 hours and it showed between yellow and green. Adjusted bubble counter to increase CO2 from originally around 1 bubble per second to around 2.5 bubbles per second (planted tank only 5.5g/no fish yet). Waited 2 hours and it seems to be getting a little more green. but still quite yellowish for me and my wife. The regulator says 54 psi is going to the cone. I might be reconsidering, but it seems to me like it limits the CO2 in some way, or this thing can do a damn good job of reducing the visibility of CO2 in your tank. Will update if I find out anything or improve anything on my system. I like this challenge because it gives me something to do and find out.
