This exceeded my expectations. I researched their website beforehand and followed the instructions exactly. Within a few days my lips were much softer, plumper, brighter and smoother overall. This is the only product I have found like this! I rarely write reviews but I am so happy with this lip scrub. All the negative reviews here are due to not following directions/lack of research. It's supposed to be bitter so you can't lick it off! It's also ACID, so it makes sense. You should apply a scented lipstick/lip balm immediately after drying, which neutralizes the taste and keeps your lips moisturized for longer. I use this several times a day as I have a thick lower lip and it dries out quickly in winter. . Dead skin will begin to shed right away, but don't try to pick at it! Excess skin is removed with a gentle peeling. The main thing is patience!
