Very disappointed with this opener. It "sticks" when the wine bottle is opened and you have to fight to close it again. I had to return the first one we received and that was a big problem for Revain as it was shipped by a third party. A very long story, but after several emails and phone calls, both Revain and CT Power Tools, a third party, refused to take responsibility for replacing this defective product. They said I needed to contact Le Creuset which I did and after a few contacts with Le Creuset they actually exchanged it and provided the best customer service for the situation. However, when we received the second Le Creuset corkscrew, it remained in use, ie. does not open or close smoothly. We can't return it again because Le Creuset said they won't take it a second time as we didn't originally buy it from them. This was a situation where the buyer should beware when purchasing an item on the Revain website where the item is sold and shipped by a third party. The third party seller in this case did not have a credible or typical return/exchange policy.
