This TV stand works great BUT the lack of instructions was the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. There is a youtube channel that kind of explains it but to be honest we asked my father in law to help as my spouse and I really don't feel very comfortable especially when it comes to putting things on the walls hanging around and risking the "life" of our Vizio TV (a cheap TV, but it was free to us new homeowners, so I'll proudly take it to the frugality side). Works great, didn't have to move it that much as it was good where it was (over the coat, never needs to be moved or lengthened). In general, if you feel comfortable, I recommend installing it yourself. In any case, 2 people are required for the installation with EASE.
