Review on 🚲 CST TB96835000 Bicycle Tire, 29x2/3 Inch by Adam Jackson

I bought these to make my hardtail more comfortable. I've ridden different types of tires from Maxxis to Specialty so I have some experience with different brands. Installation was a little tricky, but I'm really enjoying the ride quality. Now the bike rolls over things a lot easier and cornering grip is noticeably increased. I put them on my 2019 special fuse which is designed for 27.5 wheels. Clearance for these tires would be tight, but they worked great with decent ground clearance all round. AWESOME, I use them on 29mm inner diameter rims (not 35-45mm as you would expect) and from reading online these tires shouldn't perform well due to the sidewall slope. Overall I was expecting them to be wider, but they were actually only a few millimeters wider than the 2.6 tires I had previously. I think because I use thinner slices. I was afraid to buy them, but it turned out that even at a lower pressure of 15psi, sidewall crushing was minimal. So now I have these juicy big tires, I can ride with less pressure and more control, and my hardtail is just as fun to ride as full suspension. Please note that I weigh 150 pounds so results will differ from a heavier rider.
