I ordered the size XL as most of the reviews I've read indicated that the size was a bit too small is. The fit around the waist is snug for my 36 waist but otherwise loose around the hips and legs. I've ridden with a base layer underneath the ScorpionExo pants with no complaints or bindings. The knee pads and shins feel a bit low when standing, but otherwise fine when seated. How well this fits you depends on your physique and posture. Overall I think this is a good product and worth what I paid for it. My only recommendation to the manufacturer is to increase the height adjustment of the knee/calf pads. In other words, make it so that the bets can be placed higher than they are now.
