I paid $$$$$$ for this system and I am still NOT disappointed. They really hold up and work well in all conditions. The charge lasts a long time too. i like the light Sometimes it's so nice when you're outside in the dark. We have a ranch in the mountains in the John Day Valley here in eastern Oregon. That's why we got it. I also have a smaller one. Both are the same. I have a mini aussie and a bluetick. Both respond well to sounds. However, I want one. For vibrations. It's really a shame for the $ I paid not to have this feature. And the charge setting is normal for these collars but DUMB for the controller. However, their range is amazing. And my dogs swim in our lake, get dirty as hell and these devices are constantly submerged and vibe and never work.
