Very disappointed. It certainly doesn't look like it should be called a true replacement. Cardboard, not the hard plastic that comes with it. My first lasted a year. I use a commercial activated carbon filter in a clean, dust free basement and to keep the room from smelling musty so I don't have to change the actual filter as often, luckily with the price they charge for a replacement now I give give him a try on a comparable aftermarket plastic version next year. Don't pay such a high price and look for an aftermarket version. If it was a nice version with a plastic case I wouldn't mind paying full price, in which case you do NOT get what you thought you were paying for.
