I bought one for security reasons. I honestly haven't read much about it, just wanted a seat belt knife and glass breaker, but when I saw this and thought I could get more features for a few bucks more. I'm incredibly impressed with it. Two days later I gave it to my 70 year old mother who was walking her dog in her neighborhood at night. Alarm clock is LOUD. let your dogs howl loudly. and so I was relieved that she goes for a walk at night. So I ordered another one to save money this time. My mom showed it to her best friend and then she wanted one so I ordered a third one. The price went up about $7 between my second and third purchase. but it's worth it even at the higher price! I leave it in the car window to charge with solar power, then toss it in my purse when I get out of the car in case I need an alarm, light, or want to use it to charge my phone.
