I chose this economical route over expensive 3M pads due to the authentic grit and hex adapter. Most of the pads are heavily curled, but the few I've used can be massaged fairly straight with little effort. I was able to derust all four brake calipers and will live with a single pad for a long time to come. The hex adapter is a bonus, but it doesn't rotate perfectly on the center of the hex shaft (you get what you pay for), but using a drill bit comes in handy in a pinch. For the typical hobbyist, this kit comes in very handy if you have the patience to work with each pad just before use. If I were using them for more accuracy or paid work I'd probably just go with the more expensive 3M for quality control.
