I say this as someone who loves assembling furniture but it was hard! The mechanisms for locking the dowels in place were surprisingly finicky, and until the whole thing was built they seemed very flimsy. It feels a lot more solid now that it's built, and I'm not overly concerned about its durability in that regard. The little plastic tabs covering the holes for the non-metal stand didn't fit at all, so I just threw them away. because I am concerned that the air inside can become stagnant and uncomfortable for kittens when using their litter box. The neckline is also very jagged around the edges, so I might try sanding them down a bit so they don't feel as rough on the cat's paws. I really like the overall look and am very happy that the door is designed to rotate 180 degrees. I highly recommend this for people in small living spaces where it is otherwise not possible to have multiple bins.
