Bought these pants for an off road trip with a friend who did 400 miles in two days on dirt roads and MC trails in hot weather Has. The ventilation was fine and they were comfortable throughout the trip. The fabric is strong and the armor is adequate. The pockets are spacious, the velcro straps hold up well. At a very affordable price, they offered decent protection and comfort. A few things could have been better and made my trip more enjoyable. The fit is correct as advertised and the pants look good standing up. Unfortunately, when seated on a motorcycle, the comfortable spacing in the crotch pushes the legs up and the armor moves over the hips, leaving the knees exposed. No amount of jerking and jerking will fix this. It also exposes your ankles to dirt and wind. In an accident, you are more likely to receive a blow to your knees. If I were to buy again I would get an inseam longer than I normally buy jeans for a better fit.
