The first impression of this wine carrier is very positive. Looks very nice, all materials are high quality. It's also perfect for a bottle of wine or cava. With a bottle of wine it feels very durable and certainly offers more protection and insulation than simply tossing the bottle in a bag with other things. The reason they don't give 5 stars is because of a few picky things. First, the leather handle is offset at the top. You had to do this to accommodate the zipper, but this is what it looks like off center. The lining material seems to be of good quality but they had to use the sticker version to cover the grip studs. Again, this spoils the overall look of the product, making it appear cheaper when you're giving it away. I'm also concerned that they will peel off over time. Finally, the shelves that should allow you to place the bottle in the case are also misaligned, making the bottle a lot less stable than it could be. However, for our intended use, I don't see why we would want to put the bottle in a case anyway. Finally, while strong with a bottle, the walls aren't as stiff as one would expect (see last picture in this review). Despite all these little things, we will use this product and enjoy it. He has a goal, and he's doing a good job of it. If you're looking for a truly eye-catching gift, it will pass the test at first glance, but the details make it feel different than you might think at first glance.
