Better than I expected.

The reason I bought this bag was because I needed something no longer than 21 inches long to fit between my baskets. All my other dry bags were too long, they sat on top of my baskets which pushed them down. I thought they would be suitable for the trip I had in mind. I hadn't planned any difficult off-road stuff where I might cross water or anything like that. I also figured that if I got caught in a thunderstorm, the bag would do. While driving, I literally got caught in a thunderstorm. We drove for almost an hour in torrential rain, wind and even hail. With neither time nor space to put on a raincoat, we persevered and eventually got soaked to the skin. When we got to the motel I was pleasantly surprised to find that my clothes were completely dry and no water got into my bag. I was so pleased with the bag that I ordered another one so I can easily and neatly fold it up on the seat behind me when I want to carry more things. The straps that come with the bag are well thought out and have taken the place of my favorite rock straps. The pouch cannot prevent water ingress when fully submerged. The zipper isn't waterproof, but the flap that closes it keeps out normal rain. I'm also only giving 4 stars in the durability category as I've only owned the bag for a short time, but I think the build quality is good and it should last quite a while.
