I have six chainsaws and it's a hassle to sharpen them so I thought heck, I'll give this a try. I was skeptical based on what I could see of the mechanics in the photo. When I got it I was just as skeptical. Anyone who sharpens their blades knows that both the side and top of the tooth are filed INSIDE with a round file. This device only grinds the top of the tooth from the OUTSIDE. In fact, it destroys the tooth by grinding metal that cannot be ground. The side of the tooth is also not sharpened. Don't be fooled, this is a bad buy and will be returned. The one that was sent to me has already been used, so I'm guessing someone else thought the same thing.
