I replaced both mirrors with this model as they fold back into place when space is limited. It just wobbles backwards and inwards, so if it snags on something when reversing, it'll fry. The size of the mirror is an improvement over OEM mirrors and offers a much larger view. Installation was easy - just loosen the five screws holding the inner door panel in place and slide it down. It is not necessary to remove the plate. Be sure to tighten the nuts that attach the mirror to the door to prevent vibration.
