I used them with my porter cord drill. They just work!
I bought these to sand the surface of a stainless steel plate. I'm pretty sure my drill bit will fail before they wear out. Sandpaper is decent, heavy grit lasts quite a long time, normal wear and tear is to be expected. The base feels quite solid, no signs of fatigue after 4 hours of fumbling.
