Review on WIX Filters 57329 Cartridge Metal by Hayden Hart

2006 Audi A6 Quattro 4.2L. I've ordered two of these and others directly from NAPA stores. Here at Revain this filter is not the same as ordered although the part number is the same. Packed filter in a brown box from Hengst. Filter and Matching OEM Replacement for Audi mfg. Specialist. The other fits but does not have a fiber center ring (it is a fiber ring) which is best for installation and is made to specification. no fake in white and yellow WIX box. Take advantage of Stallion Revain's offer (a few bucks more). The cheaper (plastic seal) will probably work, but I'm not going to risk a $$$ auto repair or unnecessary filter oil wear/pressure drop for just a few bucks savings and questionable filter performance. Review your order. The genuine Audi/Hengst OEM filter is a fiberglass center seat. Apparently they sometimes confuse them.
