Update August 2021 A little warning to buyers. I've only had one monitor failure in my entire life and that was in 1994. I bought this monitor in late 2018 and it clicked and died the other day. After spending 40 minutes on the phone with Dell employees who don't speak English, I knew I wouldn't be happy. My warning to you: buy an extended warranty. So why did I buy this monitor again? After the other dies? Because I couldn't find a better monitor. The display quality is excellent, the sound is surprisingly good and, as already mentioned, fewer cables are required. I can't blame the monitor. But I blame Dell. I disliked this company for years and had issues with them for years and the only reason I will risk it is the extended non-Dell warranty. ======== = Previous rating circa 2019 I am revising the rating to 5 stars after some use. I bought a 24 inch and as others have said would like to make it bigger. However, this is a very good and clear monitor. It has a low profile and sits at the back of my desk. The menu interface is easy to use and the speakers are really powerful. Five stars because I really like it. My comments remain. 1. The height is not adjustable. 2. The speakers need to be aligned. If you don't have an equalizer app on your PC, try Equalizer APO for free on Sourceforge. You can see my equalizer profile in the attached image. Now that it's aligned, the sound is excellent. 3. The thin screen bezel looks great as long as you attach the clip-on camera. Then you will find that your screen is dimmed. A spacer needs to be created that can be glued, taped, or clamped to the top of the screen to raise the camera about 5/8 inch. Since I have a shop, it was easy. Maybe not for others.
