The second time I bought this Columbia belt, it broke the second time just a month after I bought it. I would say buyers beware. Cheap plastic faux leather is as soft as crepe paper, and that's what prompted me to buy a second strap when a couple of pieces of the webbing broke. The second strap broke due to the fact that the aforementioned "skin" holds the buckle tongue in place, compared to a typical strap where it rests on a metal rod that is contained within and connected to the buckle itself is. Well, the "leather" strip also tore, rendering the belt unusable. I am not emphasizing this belt in any way, I have a 34" waist and bought the appropriate size. I did not use this harness to get myself to safety or reenact scenes from The Secretary. I only use a belt for professionalism and aesthetics, my modest curvy butt does 85% of the work when it comes to keeping my pants down, all the belt should really do was sit there.
