Hi I am using a heavy duty 3000w inverter with four 6v batteries (gauge 235) connected in series with 4 gauge wire, to get 12 VDC. I also installed 2 mppt controllers of 40 amps each. One of the mppt controller has 2 x 100w monocrystalline panels connected in series, the other mppt controller has 2 polycrystalline panels also connected in series for a total of 470w. Works like clockwork. I have a fridge with 10 9w leds and also a tv which all worked fine after the big storm Maria in Puerto Rico. Very happy with the inverter.
