Luckily I didn't increase or decrease the size. That was right! My little sister is around 40-50 pounds, very skinny. Exactly like in the picture. When you first button up the back buttons, they feel a bit loose and scary, otherwise it's exactly the same as the picture. The detailing is beautiful. I would definitely buy and plan to do it again.
