This is a plug once and live forever setup, so I was hoping to get by with something less expensive. So far I haven't encountered any problems and I think it will work fine for a long time. ideal for connections between digital inputs and a mixer or between external processors and a board without using inserts. No corrections or changes to sources or configurations are made in this app. My use is unique in that we are both an amateur radio station and GMRS radio, and offer a weekly live streaming service. Audio is taken from the vocal mic and radios via DI boxes, mixed and fed back to the radios and PC for live transmission. I hope this helps you understand my application and determine if these cables are right for you. BTW, the color coding is a lot more useful than I expected since I only used black mic cables.
