Low stars because I suspect they didn't properly account for the shrinkage in the injection molding process. There are several reviews that say it broke on first use and I think they are right. The latch was not aligned with the console, so if you try to force it closed you will most likely damage it. I had to heat mine with a heat gun and "massage" the release latch to the front of the console. Then it lined up properly and snapped into place as it should. If I needed another I would buy another one, but it would be nice if you could just screw it on and you're done. But, in the manufacturer's defense, if you can't figure out the problem and get it working with an extra 5 minutes of your time, you probably shouldn't own an old Jeep.
