This is a good working headset that works just as well as my Turtle Beach headset (about 2.5 times the price) in terms of gaming sound. It's much easier to hear gunfire when playing FPS multiplayer and I can use that to my advantage. This is a tricky way to improve the K/D ratio since all top players use headphones. It has a good soundstage and the microphone works very well. People say I sounded clear, concise and without background noise. The mic blocks/reduces noise quite well, but that's about the only noise cancellation they offer. There's some passive noise-cancellation (some noise is blocked) due to the in-ear fit, but it doesn't feel like active noise-cancellation (ANC). For this MSRP I wasn't expecting that so it's not a big deal in my eyes. The cable is long enough, it is comfortable to wear, and the adapter that comes with it is useful for computer games. This is a good budget headset that would be great if it was around $22. Pros: Good soundstage. Clear microphone. Pretty long cable. a budget option.
